History:
Al-Qawlul Mufeed was first published in September 2001 at Daru Ahlil Athar Dawah Center in Durham, NC with the intention of providing the local community with an Islamic publication of their own, aiding them in developing their knowledge of Islam and encouraging them to righteous action. Though its first period of publication only lasted until March of the following year totaling seven issues, by the permission of Allah, Al-Qawlul Mufeed was revived and has been continually published and distributed since March of 2005. Now in association with Markaz Tawheed was Sunnah of North Carolina, Al-Qawlul Mufeed is not only distributed online with countless subscribers around the world it is also sent via mail to many communities in and out of North Carolina.
Our Aim:
To publish a monthly “newsletter” geared toward providing the English-speaking Muslims in the USA and abroad with relevant religious information to further their Islamic development, through knowledge-based research and by consistently producing quality translations of reputable scholarly works and circulating them both online and by post in an efficient cost-effective manner.
